The new Generative Expand tool in Adobe Photoshop accelerates the revolution in image editing by leaps and bounds with its uncanny ability to add realistic photo data where none existed before. The amount of time you’ll save using this tool is hard to even estimate.
A situation in which I find it most useful is when a client supplies a portrait that’s been cropped in too much for a design’s need and they have nothing else to offer. Previously, the time and talent required to add natural-looking data to the photo would be either extreme or just not possible. But now, with just a few clicks and almost no time at all, nothing seems out of reach.
