Vanessa is very excited to join the town of Weston’s Art & Innovation Center as an Advisory Board member. As an avid supporter of the arts, Vanessa is especially eager to help build awareness and market the AIC within and beyond Weston.
Advisory Board members are valuable ambassadors and contributors to the mission of the AIC and are enlisted due to specialized expertise, ability to fundraise or develop grants, or to cultivate impactful relationships through various organizations and networks. In the coming years, Vanessa will work with the other board members to advance specific projects, events, relationships, and bring knowledge and training to the center.
The AIC is housed in the former Weston Town Library, a beautiful space located in the heart of the town center. Classes ranging from watercolor painting to 3D printing and much more are open to the public. In addition, the Maker Lab space is available for those who’ve been certified and are interested in working independently. Equipment includes a 3D printer, Cricut Maker cutter, printing press, and sewing machine.
The AIC also offers lovely rental spaces for small weddings, family events, and business functions.
